Veyron can be found within the Fleeting Flower Village, and is fought during the main quest Versus Veyron.
To fight Veyron again, simply interact with the violet orb in the boss arena to initiate the rematch.
Veyron is a unique Boss that cannot be befriended. Befriending Veyron from this encounter in the Fleeting Flower Village is impossible, similar to attempting to befriend other Tagesanbruch bosses.
| Main Weapon | Secondary Weapon |
|---|---|
Fire Wisp Fangs
|
Golden Pheasant Bow
|
The Fire Wisp Fangs are dual blades with decent attack power and fire attack, which works effectively against Veyron, since it has a weakness to both Dual Blades and Fire Attacks. To deal more damage, you can further upgrade the Fire Wisp Fangs at any blacksmith.
Bringing the Golden Pheasant Bow as a secondary weapon allows you to deal damage to Veyron with ranged attacks, providing a decent weapon alternative utilizing Fire Attacks.

Spring Hairpin

General's Pauldron
|
Ring of Repose
|
The Spring Hairpin, General's Pauldron, and Ring of Repose are all equipment that can be crafted from recipes found before fighting Veyron.
Equipping all three increases your defensive stats, allowing you to tank more hits before needing to heal while fighting against Veyron.

Bringing a team consisting of Cuilang, Kotaro, and Ulalaka for your first team gives you a defensive team, allowing you to survive Veyron's attacks easier while he is not stunned.
Once Veyron is stunned, switch to Matsuri, Hina, and Fubuki, who will provide an offensive boost, allowing you to deal more damage while Veyron is stunned.

| Veyron Strategy |

Upgrading your Dual Blades and Sacred Sword Skills is a great way to make the boss battle easier.
For the Dual Blades, try to prioritize Charge Attack, and Ultimate Attack nodes. For the Sacred Sword, unlocking both Sword Dances should be your priority.
If you have the means to consistently restore RP, you can repeatedly use the Sword Attacks to quickly fill up the Boss' stagger meter.
Veyron has very powerful attacks, and coming underleveled and unprepared can make the fight significantly harder.
Stock up on healing and food items by purchasing or cooking before challenging the boss!
During the Veyron boss fight, you can use Sword Dance Stances once it's stunned to deal more damage.
Ideally, your goal is to build 2 charge bars using attacks before the boss is stunned. Once it's stunned, use up all your charge bars by performing both Sword Dances, to deal massive amounts of damage quickly.
Performing a Perfect Dodge gives you a brief window of opportunity where the monster is slowed, allowing you to freely perform your combos.
During the Veyron boss fight, perfect dodges are more important compared to previous boss fights, since its attacks deal significantly more damage, and has shorter wind-up times.
Challenging and defeating Veyron again drops Platinum, and Emeralds.
