You will need to meet Kanata to have the Tanabata Festival on Summer 7th. If you do not have Kanata by the time the date rolls around, the Tanabata Festival will not be available.

What to Do For Tanabata Festival

Fulfill Wish Requests for Kanata

Fulfill Wishes for Kanata
During the Tanabata Festival, talk to Kanata in the Summer Village at 7 PM. She will ask for your help to fulfill people's wishes on her behalf before the end of the festival.

The wishes you will receive are similar to personal requests that you can ask from characters, but will have no reward listed.

Talk to Kanata When You Complete a Request

Talk to Kanata to Complete a Request
When you have accomplished a wish, talk to Kanata and select I have fulfilled a request to count it towards the festival. Going directly to the request characters will not complete the wish.

Wishes Can Only Be Fulfilled Until 11 PM

Accomplish Requests Until 11 PM

Wishes can only be fulfilled until 11 PM, which will be the end of the Tanabata Festival.

If you are unable to complete a wish, you can ask Kanata to change the request to something that you can fulfill during the festival period.

Rewards for Tanabata Festival

Increased Bonds for All Characters

Completing the Tanabata Festival and successfully granting the wishes given to you that night will increase your bonds for all characters, both romanceable and non-romanaceable!

This festival will help you significantly in increasing your bond levels, especially for characters that you do not get to interact with often.
