Seasons affect your farm's crop yield in Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma (RFGoA). Read on to learn about what gets affected by seasons and learn if seasons change in the game.

What Do Seasons Affect?
Crop Yield
The seasons across the four villages affect how many crops you can harvest from the seeds that have been planted on a tile.
If a crop was planted on the village where it is suitable to be grown, you will be able to harvest more produce compared to planting it somewhere else. Additionally, if you plant a crop on a village that does not suit the crop at all, you will get the least amount of produce once the time to harvest arrives.
Farming Guide: How to Manage Crops
Available Contests
There are certain contests that you can only hold in a specific village that cannot be held in another region. These contests, however, can be held on any day regardless of the calendar month.
For example, the Curry Contest can only be held in the Summer Village, but it can be held outside the Summer month.
Does the Season Change?
Season Does Not Change Per Village
The seasons for all villages are set and will not change as you play through the game. This means that the season in the Summer Village will forever be set to summer and you will not experience any other season in the region.
Weather Will Change Per Village
However, weather can vary across all villages, and the condition may change per day. Keep this in mind before you set out to do you daily tasks so you will not be affected by the weather.

Spring is available in the Spring Village, where cherry blossoms are always present.
