The Sacred Parasol is best used with the Kamiwaza Range Boost I skill in Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma (RFGoA). Read on for a guide on how to use the Sacred Parasol, the best Sacred Parasol skills, all the Parasol Dance skills on the Skill Tree, and how to get the Sacred Parasol.

How to Use the Sacred Parasol

Clear Red Blight
The Sacred Parasol can be used to clear Burnblooms to purify Scorched Lands. Burnblooms are red-colored blight that may shoot out fireballs if you get near them.
Approach the Burnbloom, avoiding the fireballs as much as possible, and perform the Parasol Dance in order to remove the blight. The range of your parasol is, unfortunately, not very far, so you will have to get close to the Burnbloom in order to purify it. However, your parasol's range can be improved using the Skill Tree.
Attack with Water
Doing the Parasol Dance allows you to shoot out water from the tip of the Sacred Parasol. This is a water attack that can damage enemies.
Both the Kagura Dance and Divine Dance of the Sacred Parasol also deal water damage. Despite shooting out lightning bolts, Divine Dance: Thunderclap is considered as a water attack, and it is best used against enemies that are weak to water.
Glide Through Open Air and Updrafts
As long as you have the Sacred Parasol equipped, you will automatically glide upon jumping off a ledge or onto a windy updraft.
Gliding down through open air will make a stamina meter emerge, giving you only a limited amount of time to glide. This stamina meter cannot be upgraded using the Skill Tree, so it is not recommended to glide to a faraway point. Getting lifted by an updraft, however, does not consume stamina.
Water Crops
The Parasol Dance can be used to water multiple field tiles at once. This can allow you to save some time if you like to tend to your crops yourself.
However, unlike watering the fields one-by-one, using Parasol Dance consumes RP. Make sure to check your RP meter before performing this dance to make sure you have enough.

The Kamiwaza Range Boost I is a good skill to prioritize in the Sacred Parasol's Skill Tree, since it is useful both in battle and when farming. This extends the range of your Parasol Dance, allowing you to cover a wider area with your water attack.

Max RP Up III and the VIT Up skills are some of the best stat boosts that you can unlock from the Parasol Dance Skill Tree.
RP is required in order to perform the Parasol Dance as well as the dances of the other sacred treasures. The main way to expand it is through the Skill Trees. VIT or vitality affects both your Defense and M. Defense, making it a good stat to invest in if you're struggling with battles.

How to Get the Sacred Parasol
Go to Winter Village
You can obtain the Sacred Parasol by following the main quest in the Winter Village. After completing A Present for Watarase, you will be asked to rest. While resting, the god of winter will bestow upon you the Sacred Parasol.
The Sacred Parasol will then be equipable from your sacred treasures wheel when you wake up.
