How to Use the Sacred Staff

Attack with Light
The Sacred Staff deals Light element damage with the butterflies it produces when you use Staff Dance. The butterflies of light each hone into an enemy, even if from a distance, before striking them.
If no enemy is nearby, the butterflies of light will fly near you until they find a target or you unequip the Sacred Staff. They can also fade away after some time has passed.
Shows Invisible Paths
The Sacred Staff can show any invisible pathways, such as the invisible bridges in the Heavenly Realm.
You do not have to use Staff Dance to see these invisible objects. You only need to have the Sacred Staff as your equipped sacred treasure in order to use this ability.

The Light Butterflies +2 is the best skill to prioritize on the Staff Dance Skill Tree. This allows you to summon 2 additional butterflies of light when using Staff Dance, allowing you to target and damage more enemies at a time.
Take note that using Staff Dance only summons one butterfly per use, but the maximum butterflies that can be on the field at a time can increase with Light Butterflies +2. Multiple Light Butterflies +2 skills can be unlocked on the Skill Tree if you want to build an army of butterflies to sic on your enemies.
Your Staff Dance attack is best supported by the Blessings of Light skill, which increases the damage of light elemental attacks.

It may be best to prioritize unlocking INT Up stat bonuses on the Staff Dance Skill Tree. INT affects your M. ATK stat, allowing you to deal more damage when wielding magic weapons, including the Sacred Staff.

The Sacred Staff can be obtained during the main story after defeating Lord Ura in the quest Settling the Score with Lord Ura in The Underworld.
