How Long Can You Stay Up

You can stay up late until 5am before fainting in Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma (RFGoA). Read on to learn how late you can stay up, and what happens if you do.

How Late Can You Stay Up

Faint at 5 AM

Faint at 500 AM

The latest the player character can stay up is until 5:00 AM in-game. Regardless of how much health you have by this time, it will automatically set to 0 once it turns 5 AM.

Lose HP After 12 AM Midnight

Losing HP at 12 Midnight

If you stay up past 12 AM midnight, you will start to rapidly lose HP and MP. You will lose all your health within the hour unless you use healing items.

Consuming food, potions, or using the Sacred Drum can keep your HP up and let you stay up longer. However, you will automatically faint at 5:00 AM regardless of your remaining HP.

What Happens If You Stay Up

Get EXP Penalties

Penalties

Staying up late will incur penalties during your end of day report. You will lose 10 EXP for every hour you stay up after 1 AM. If you go to bed between 12 AM to 12:59 AM, you will not receive any penalties.

You will also lose 10 EXP for fainting.
