Clarice can be found within the Palace of Serendipity, and is fought during the main quest A Clash With Clarice.
To fight Clarice again, simply interact with the violet orb in the boss arena to initiate the rematch.
Clarice is a unique Boss that becomes a villager after defeating her a second time during the end of the story. Befriending Clarice from this encounter in the Palace of Serendipity is impossible, similar to attempting to befriend Ikaruga.
Once Clarice is unlocked as a villager, you can progress her Bond level and intimacy instead, similar to other romanceable characters.

The Soul of Ice is a long sword with high attack power and water attack, which works effectively against Clarice, since it has a weakness to Long Swords.
Bringing the Mechanical Bow as a secondary weapon allows you to deal damage to Clarice from afar, providing a neutral but safer long-range weapon.

Upgrading your Long Sword and Sacred Mask Skills is a great way to make the boss battle easier.
For the Long Sword, try to prioritize Charge Attack, and Ultimate Attack nodes. For the Sacred Mask, unlocking both Mask Dances should be your priority.
If you have the means to consistently restore RP, you can repeatedly use the Mask Dance Attacks to quickly fill up the Boss' stagger meter.
Clarice has very powerful attacks, and coming underleveled and unprepared can make the fight significantly harder.
Stock up on healing and food items by purchasing or cooking before challenging the boss!
During the Clarice boss fight, you can use Mask Dance Stances once it's stunned to deal more damage.
Ideally, your goal is to build 2 charge bars using attacks before the boss is stunned. Once it's stunned, use up all your charge bars by performing both Mask Dances, to deal massive amounts of damage quickly.
Performing a Perfect Dodge gives you a brief window of opportunity where the monster is slowed, allowing you to freely perform your combos.
During the Clarice boss fight, perfect dodges are more important compared to previous boss fights, since its attacks deal significantly more damage, and has shorter wind-up times.
Challenging and defeating Clarice again drops Platinum, and Amethyst.
