| Mezuki Strategy |

Using the combo of the Dull Sword allows you to deal significant damage during the boss fight. Make sure to dodge in between combos, to avoid receiving damage from Mezuki's attacks.
Using the Earth Drum dances can also be helpful in certain situations, due to Mezuki's weakness to the Earth Drum, and using the dance allows you to deal damage and heal yourself.
Mezuki's Dash and Jump attacks deal significantly more damage, but also have a longer wind-up animation. Make sure to dodge these attacks in time, and punish Mezuki afterwards!
Once Mezuki is Stunned, you can land up to 3 Charge Attacks. Doing so reduces Mezuki's HP significantly, reducing its HP by about half after 3 charge attacks.
Performing a Perfect Dodge gives you a brief window of opportunity where the monster is slowed, allowing you to freely perform your combos.

Defeating Mezuki the first time frees Takumi from being blighted, and unlocks him as a permanent Villager for Spring Village.
Takumi serves as Spring Village's carpenter, and is a crucial character for the subsequent events of Spring Village.
