Cooking Skill Tree

Skilled Cook Occasionally increases level of cooked food by 1.
Materialistic Sometimes refunds one required material when forging, cooking, or constructing.
Max HP Up Boosts max HP.

The best skills to get from the Cooking Skill Tree are Skilled Cook and Materialistic, which affect the dishes you make and the materials you use up when cooking. Getting these will help you get dishes with higher levels, which are more potent, and save up on materials when you prepare dishes.

You can also get Max HP Up to increase your health and give you more survivability.

Construction Skill Tree

Max RP Up Boosts max RP.
DEX Up Boosts DEX.
Penny-Pincher Reduces the amount of gold needed when forging, cooking, and constructing.

For the Construction Skill Tree, Penny-Pincher is a must as this will help you save on gold as you craft items, cook dishes, and make buildings for your farms.

For stats, you can get Max RP up so you use more Sacred Treasure dances, and DEX Up to increase your critical hit rate in combat.

Forging Skill Tree

STR Up Boosts STR.
Max HP Up Boosts max HP.
Penny-Pincher Reduces the amount of gold needed when forging, cooking, and constructing.
Materialistic Sometimes refunds one required material when forging, cooking, or constructing.

Penny-Pincher and Materialistic in the Forging Skill Tree both helps you save on resources as you craft items.

You can also get STR Up and Max HP Up to improve your damage input and health.

Chemistry Skill Tree

Max RP Up Boosts max RP.
Skilled Healer Boosts amount of HP and RP restored by your party's items and active skills.
Materialistic Sometimes refunds one required material when forging, cooking, or constructing.

For the Chemistry Skill Tree, Skilled Healer improves both health and Rune Point recovery which gives you more survivability in combat and allows you to use more Sacred Treasure dances.

Additionally, Max RP Up will also help with dance usage, as you will get more Rune Points to use.

Social Activities Skill Tree

Skilled Merchant Sell items for a higher price.
Bargain Hunter Get better deals when buying items.

The Social Activities Skill Tree only has one long branch, but it can be helpful to get Skilled Merchant and Bargain Hunter so you can earn more money from selling items and save more money when buying items, respectively.

All Practical Ability skills and skill trees are found within its own menu in the Skill Trees screen. You can unlock nodes from these skill trees with the use of XP tied to the skill tree or with All-Purpose XP which you get every time you end the day and sleep.

Some skill nodes that are located deep within a skill tree need to have previous skill nodes unlocked before you can get them.
