Rune Points or RP are used to perform actions with Sacred Treasures when farming or during combat. You can eat dishes that are labelled to restore RP to recover them while you are exploring or tending to your farm.
If you do not have any dishes, you can look for Rune Lanterns or wait for it to regenerate slowly.
How to Recover Rune Points (RP)

Overhead View while in Village Building Mode lets you zoom out of the area to get a bird's eye view of your farm. This makes it easier to plot out the layout of your farm and move tiles, crops, and buildings as you have a better view of the whole field.

Each character that you meet in the game will have their own preferences, which can be useful to know more about them and so you can pick the right choices when hanging out with them.
You can check out the profiles of all the characters you've met and take note of their likes and dislikes. You can also check your current Bond Level with them in this menu.

There are various debuffs that you can get while exploring the map. This will either affect your health, RP, and stats, so make sure to watch out for any danger!
| Debuff | Effect |
|---|---|
| Poison | Drains HP. |
| Curse | Drains RP. |
| Paralysis | Decreased movement speed and strength (ATK). |
| Weak | Decreased movement speed and vitality (DEF). |
| Sleep | Decreased speed and intelligence (M.ATK). |

Various dishes can restore health, RP, and even provide stat buffs which can be useful when you are out exploring and fighting enemies.
You can cook dishes at the teahouse, izakaya, or bonfires using ingredients that you have in your inventory. You can cook more dishes as you play through the game and find Frog Statues which give new recipes as a reward.

Sometimes, you may find yourself facing tough enemies or even bosses which can use attacks that can deal a lot of damage.
Try to dodge before an enemy's attack lands to execute a perfect dodge, which opens up a chance to launch a counterattack.

You can hold the button when collecting resources instead of mashing it. This makes it easier to gather materials without your hands getting tired!

You can fast travel to any Save Statues you've unlocked across the map. You do not need to run around the area and you can quickly go back between points in the map with the use of the Save Statues.

Instead of manually looking through the map, press Y on the map screen to warp you to a specific Save Statue. You can also cycle between regions using the L and R buttons.

If you change any configurations in the options menu, the game will be forced to autosave to save any changes, which overwrites the autosave spot.
This can be useful to quickly save and load your progress if you are trying to check a character's preferences during hangouts!
How to Save: Is There an Autosave?

The game has an active clock which will keep running in real time unless it is paused. If you leave the game open in the background, a full day may pass in-game and your character will faint if it reaches past 1 am.
If you need to leave the game open for a while, make sure to have the camp menu or the map open to keep the time from moving.
