How to Unlock Riku
Romance and Marry a Bachelor or Bachelorette
The first step to unlocking Riku is to choose a bachelor or bachelorette to romance and marry. Progress through the main story, complete all of their Bonding Quests and raise their Bond Level.

Wait 5 Days and Accept Proposal from Your Partner
After marrying your partner, you will be asked about having a child five days after your marriage. Accept this proposal and wait for five days.
Once five days have passed, Woolby will transport you and your spouse to the Fateweaver Shrine. From there, you have the choice to determine the gender and personality of child. Choose "A boy" and "A quiet, gentle buttercup" to unlock Riku.
Wait for another 5 days for the child to be born. For same-sex marriage, you will need to plant a seedling behind the shrine from which the child will be born from it.
