You can use the fishing pole to catch fish at fishing spots. Equipping better fishing poles will help you catch fish easier.

How to Upgrade Fishing Pole

Fill Up PescaPedia for Fishing Poles

Watarase and PescaPedia

You can upgrade your fishing pole once you get a recipe to craft a new one and have all the materials needed.

To get these recipes, show your PescaPedia progress to Watarase in the Winter Village. The more fish you catch, the more you'll fill up your PescaPedia, so fish as much as you can so you can upgrade your fishing pole.

Once you get the recipe, head to a Blacksmith and choose 'Forge', then 'Forge Tools'.
