Can You Change the Main Character - Rune Factory Guardians of Azuma
You can choose to be a male protagonist or a female protagonist in Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma (RFoGA). Read on to learn if you can change you gender in the middle of the game.

Can You Change the Main Character?

Can Only Be Changed At The Start

Character Select Starting Screen
The only time you can decide your character is at the start of the game. You can choose to be either Subaru, the male protagonist, or Kaguya, the female protagonist.

Once you have made a decision, you will no longer be able to change the main character.

Same Sex Marriage is Available in Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma

Same Gender Marriage

All Romance candidates are available for marriage regardless of gender. You do not need to start a new save if you want to marry a character of the same sex.
