How to Use the Sacred Oni Mask

Destroy Large Rocks
With the Sacred Oni Mask equipped, you can use Mask Dance to destroy the large rocks with glowing purple cracks that block pathways.
You may want to go back to previous areas you've visited upon obtaining the Sacred Oni Mask. Places such as the Spring Region's Vast Plateau have these breakable rocks hiding areas that were previously inaccessible.
Attack with Darkness
Performing the Mask Dance allows you to deal Dark element damage to enemies. This is a heavy, close-ranged attack that cannot be interrupted by enemy attacks.
Pressing the Mask Dance button twice allows you to perform either the Sumo Toss or Sumo Clap attack, which can send enemies flying.

The best skills to unlock in the Mask Dance Skill Tree are the Kagura Dance and Divine Dance for this sacred treasure. The Sacred Oni Mask is mainly used as an offensive weapon, and the Kagura Dance: Sumo Slam and the Divine Dance: The Demon Within can both allow you to deal a lot of damage.
Another great skill to unlock is the Blessings of Darkness skill to boost your damage output even more when using Mask Dance.
