Mysterious Mushrooms are items that need to be appraised by Professor Fungus in Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma (RFGoA). Read on to learn all about Mysterious Mushrooms and how to appraise them, as well as know how to get them.
What are Mysterious Mushrooms?
Mushrooms that Needs To Be Appraised
Mysterious Mushroom are items that need to be appraised to reveal their true properties. You can appraise Mysterious Mushroom from Professor Fungus at the floating Mushroom Island, found high above the autumn skies of Azuma.
After giving Professor Fungus a Mysterious Mushroom that you want appraised, he will ask you if you want him to evaluate the item himself or join him.
Professor Fungus Location
Professor Fungus and the Mushroom Island can be found near the center of the Skies of Azuma map, and found east of the Isle of Subterfuge.
Mushrooms Will Be Labeled After Appraisal
After appraising a Mysterious Mushroom, the mushroom you gave him will be identified and will no longer appear with no labels. Do note that it may take a couple of pieces before a mushroom can be fully identified.
Appraised mushrooms also have higher sell values, so even if you won't use them directly, you can sell them for some quick gold!
Used in Mushroom Appraisal Azuma Quest
Mysterious Mushrooms are required to complete the Mushroom Appraisal Azuma Quest. To complete this quest, you need to appraise 30 mushrooms with Professor Fungus.
How to Get Mysterious Mushrooms
Forage Mushrooms
The main way to get Mysterious Mushroom is by picking them up from the ground. If you find a mushroom icon on your map, head to the location and pick up the mushroom to get the item.
Defeat Flower Mushsprites
Flower Mushsprites also have a chance to drop Flower Mushsprites once you defeat them. These monsters are commonly found at the Autumn Village.
