The Sacred Drum is best used with its Kagura Dance and Divine Dance skills unlocked in Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma (RFGoA). Read on for a guide on how to use the Sacred Drum, the best Sacred Drum skills, and all the Drum Dance skills on the Skill Tree.

How to Use the Sacred Drum

Revive Withered Trees and Crops
You can perform Drum Dance using your Sacred Drum near any withered trees or withered crops in order to revive them. To use Drum Dance, equip it in your sacred treasures slot, then press the labeled button for Drum Dance.
Once revived, trees can be chopped for lumber, saplings, and materials, and crops can continue to grow until they're ready to be harvested.
Speed Up Crop and Tree Growth
Using Drum Dance near saplings, seeds, and crops that aren't fully grown yet will cut down their growing time by one day.
The effects are immediately visible unlike in past Rune Factory games where the effects of using Formula A, B, or C won't be evident until the following day. This means that you may be able to harvest some almost-grown crops immediately upon using Drum Dance.
Drum Dance can be used on each growing crop and tree once a day.
Heal in Battle
The Sacred Drum can be used to heal both yourself and any party members in range. You can unlock nodes in the Skill Tree to get more powerful healing abilities such as Kagura Dance: Flower Blessings and Kamiwaza Boost.
Unlock Skills to Use Offensively
You can also use the Sacred Drum as a weapon against enemies, but this is only once you've unlocked offensive skills in the Drum Dance Skill Tree. The offensive skills you can unlock for Drum Dance are Shockwave and Divine Dance: Flower Storm.

The best skills for the Sacred Drum are the two dances that you can unlock early in its Skill Tree. These are Kagura Dance: Flower Blessings and Divine Dance: Flower Storm, both of which require the Shockwave skill to be unlocked first.
Kagura Dance: Flower Blessing is mainly a healing skill best used to keep the HP of your party up during battles. Diving Dance: Flower Storm is an offensive skill that also provides some healing. It's best used against enemies weak to earth, and it can help you easily beat the first boss in the game.
You can unlock upgrades to both of these dances further along the Drum Dance Skill Tree. The Kagura Dance Extension upgrade for Flower Blessings is particularly powerful for healing your party during long, grueling battles.

The best Drum Dance stat-boosting skills to unlock from the skill tree are the ones that increase your RP. RP is required in order to use your Sacred Drum as well as other sacred treasure kamiwaza.
Since RP can be used for farming, material gathering, and battle, it's a good idea to increase your maximum limit as soon as you can.
