Simple Pose
This is the standard photo of Salazzle. To take its 1 Star Photo, start Badlands (Day) at Research Level 3 and look for the Mandibuzz sitting on a rock.
Play the Melody to lure out Salazzle and take a photo of it without interacting with it to obtain its 1 Star Photo.

Holding a Fluffruit
Taking Salazzle's 2 Star Photo requires following the same steps when taking its 1 Star Photo.
Start Badlands (Day) at Research Level 3 and look for the Mandibuzz sitting on a rock.
Play the Melody to lure out Salazzle and throw a Fluffruit near it. Take a photo of Salazzle holding the Fluffruit to obtain its 2 Star Photo.

Digging on the Odorous Sand
To take Salazzle's 3 Star Photo, start Badlands (Day) at Research 3 and look for the Mandibuzz sitting on a rock.
Play the Melody to lure out Salazzle behind the rock. Use the Fluffruit to lure Salazzle towards the sand with an ordor. You can run a scan while luring the Pokemon to determine the exact location of the ordorous sand.
Once you have lured the Salazzle, it will start to dig through the sand. Take a photo of it digging to obtain its 3 Star Photo.

Anonymous over 4 yearsFor the 3-star photo, you can also lure Salazzle over to the Kangaskan and get a picture of her attacking. I found that a lot easier than trying to get her all the way over to the odor sand, since she comes out on that side of the rock anyway.

For the 3-star pic of Salazzle digging in the sand, I think you actually want to be on Research Level 2, not 3—I was having no luck getting her to move far enough over to the left in any of my many Level 3 attempts, but the one time I happened to be running the course on Level 2 (wherein she comes out on the other side of the rock, closer to the sand in question) and gave it a shot for the heck of it, it worked first try!
