You can take a 1-Star Photo of Diglett by capturing a photo of it while it is calm and not moving. To get the best close-up shot of the Pokemon, we recommend doing this near the end of Badlands (Night) at Research Level 2.

Near the end of Badlands (Night) at Research Level 2, you can find several Diglett inside the small caves in the walls. Take a photo of a Diglett to surprise it and before it could dig back underground, capture another photo to get a 2-Star.

To take a 3 Star Photo of Diglett, start Badlands (Night) at Research Level 2. At the beginning of the course, look to the left to find two Sandshrews. Throw an Illumina Orb at the Sandshrew on the left and it will roll down towards the slope.
While the Sandshrew is rolling down, throw an Illumina Orb at the Diglett near the bottom of the slope. Take a photo of Diglett getting hit by Sandshrew to obtain its 3 Star photo.
It is recommended to use Burst Mode for this photo as you may sometimes receive a gold star photo during the evaluation. Be sure to also use Auto Select when submitting the photo to Professor Mirror.

Taking a 4 Star photo of Diglett requires following some steps. Start Badlands (Night) and throw an Illumina Orb and take a photo of the Digletts burrowing underground.
The Digletts can be found at the beginning of the course, in the area before the swamp, and in the Minior crater area. Be sure to take as many photos of the Digletts as you can.
Once you reach the end of the course, multiple Digletts will appear in the holes. Take a photo of them as many as you can while passing through the area and then look to your left to find three Digletts mimicking Dugtrio's pose. Take a photo of this group of Diglett to obtain its 4 Star Diamond photo.
Note that a photo of two Digletts mimicking Dugtrio's pose still counts as a 4 Star photo.

I think when you're going down the ramp to the poison swamp there's some on the left side.
