Head to the Two Branching Routes

Second Branching Route

Start Snowfields (Day) at Research Level 3. Proceed to the two Branching Routes until you emerge from the ice cave.

How to Unlock Snowfields (Day) Branching Routes

Throw an Illumina Orb at the Piplup

New Pokemon Snap - Treasure-Hunting Troupe Step 2

After emerging from the ice cave, look for the three Piplups on the iceberg and throw an Illumina Orb on the one on the left.

Take a Photo of Piplup Holding the Seashell

New Pokemon Snap - Treasure-Hunting Troupe Request Photo

Wait for the Piplup to emerge next to the two and take a photo of it holding up the seashell to complete the request.
