How to Take Pichu 1 Star Photo

A Shy Pichu

Taking a 1 Star Diamond photo of Pichu is the same as taking a 1 Star Grookey. In the first part of Park (Day) research-level 2, Pichu and Grookey will hide in the posts on the left side. Follow them until they reach the third post and take a close-up shot of them in a calm pose to achieve 1 Star Diamond.

On Guard

At the beginning of the Park (Day), you'll find Pichu and Grookey in the pathway, wait till they walk to the right side. Before they get too far, play a Melody for them to notice you.

Focus on Pichu, as it will dance to the tune of the Melody. Wait till it stops and use the Scan feature to make Pichu in an alert pose. Make sure to take a close-up shot of an alert Pichu to achieve 2 Star Diamond.

How to Take Pichu 3 Star Photo

A Dancing Pichu

In the middle part of Park (Day) research-level 3, look to the grass on the left side and wait for Pichu to come out of the grass. Once Pichu is out, play a Melody and it will start dancing. Take a close-up shot of Pichu while it is dancing to achieve 3 Star Diamond.

Pichu with Flower Crown

At the last part of Park (Day) research-level 3, look for Pichu hiding in a bunch of tall flowers on the left side of the flower fields. Throw a Fluffruit at it and Pichu will jump out. Take a close-up shot of Pichu jumping out of the flowers to achieve 4 Star Diamond.
