How to Clear Vocal Volcarona Request Walkthrough
This is a guide to completing Vocal Volcarona, a request in New Pokemon Snap (Pokemon Snap 2) for the Nintendo Switch. Here you can find what kind of photo you need, and how to take it, in order to clear Vocal Volcarona, as well as the reward!

How to Clear Vocal Volcarona
1. Throw a Fluffruit at the Volcarona on the Left
Start Volcano (Illumina Spot) at Research Level 2 and wait for the two Volcarona to arrive. Throw a Fluffruit at the one on the left to head to the alternate route.
If done correctly, one of the Volcarona will fly near the Monferno at the cliffside and the Neo-One will ascend towards the alternate route.
2. Throw a Fluffruit and Illumina Orbs at the Two Volcarona
Once you head towards the original route, start throwing Fluffruits and Illumina Orbs at the two Volcarona for them to enter in an illuminated state.
3. Wait for the Two Volcarona to Hover to the Last Crystabloom
Wait for the Neo-One to climb up until you reach the last Crystabloom in the area. The two Volcarona will hover to that flower and look at it.
Take a photo of the two Volcarona looking at the crystabloom and emitting blue energy lines to complete the request.
Note! Aim the Reticule at Volcarona
Be sure to aim the reticule at the Pokemon as the camera can register the photo as a picture of the Crystabloom instead of Volcarona. Use the left thumbstick to guide the reticule to one of the Volcarona.

Anonymous over 4 yearsYeah, so, going the shorter route definitely worked for me too - made it a bit easier to hit the Volcarona. Also, it made the timing clearer to me: you gotta get a picture of them extending blue lines of energy between them, that's what they're using to communicate.
