In the Sunny Spot area of the Forest course, look to the right side and you'll find Lotad in the grass. Take a close-up shot of Lotad to achieve 1 Star Diamond.

Repeat the steps on how to get a 1 Star photo of Lotad and hit it with a Fluffruit. Once it flinch, take a close-up shot to achieve 2 Star Diamond.

Jumping Lotad
Go to the Autumn season of the Forest course research level 3, and enter the Sunny Spot area after. On the other side of the creek, there are two Lotad walking around. Play a Melody and they will start jumping.
Take a close-up shot of them jumping to achieve 3 Star Diamond. Make sure to use the Burst mode for a higher chance of getting the perfect shot.
