How to Clear If You're Happy and You Know It

Take the Alternate Route Around Wailord

After the Wailord emerges onto the main route, you will have to be looking to the right (past Wailord's head) to take the alternate route around the Pokemon's head. It's unlike other branching routes, as it's not indicated on scan mode nor does it give you a choice of whether or not to take it.

Throw an Illumina Orb at the Second Wailord

After taking the alternate route, a second Wailord will emerge behind a nearby rock. Throw an Illumina orb at it for it to open its mouth. You can do this multiple times, if it closes its mouth when you're not ready/too far.

Throw a Fluffruit Into its Mouth

When the Wailord's mouth is wide open, throw a Fluffruit into it. It may take multiple attempts to successfully shoot it in. Aim higher if your Fluffruits keep falling short. After successfully shooting it in, the ocean beast will turn over on its belly, which is when you take the picture and complete the request.

The Effect 4 frame is obtained after completing the If You're Happy and You Know It request and can be used when editing photos.
