You can take a 1 Star photo of Crabominable by capturing a photo of it while it is either walking or standing still. The best spot to do this is near the end of the Snowfields (Day) course after taking the two alternate routes.
Near the end of the course, you can see a Crabominable punching the ice. Toss a Fluffruit at the Crabominable to make it stop punching the ice. The Crabominable will walk towards the player and strike a pose. Wait until Crabominable calms down before taking the photo.
