You can take a 1 Star photo of Aurorus right before you reach the end of the Snowfields (Night) course after taking the two alternate routes. As you approach the exit, you can see two Aurorus to your right. Take a photo of one of both Aurorus to get a 1 Star photo.

You can take a 2 Star photo of Aurorus in the same spot as its 1 Star photo. However, you first need to hit one of the Aurorus with a Fluffruit and take the photo as its fins turn reddish-orange.

To take a 3 Star photo of Aurorus, you can go to the same spot as its 1 and 2 Star photos and toss some Fluffruit near one of the Aurorus. Make sure not to accidentally hit the Aurorus with the Fluffruit. After it eats the fruit, take a photo as its fins turn yellowish-green.
