When inflicted successfully, the whole team will benefit from the DEF reduction since it will be easier for them to deal DMG to whoever was Ensnared. As you superimpose this Light Cone, the chances of inflicting Ensnare and the DEF reduction to be applied increase!
It's worth upgrading Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat since it can be used by any Nihility character whose purpose is to act as a debuffer!

It only generates the debuff if the enemy is not ensnared. So 2 light cones of the same name would not work. Also, even if you just use the LC on Pela, and the debuff is already on the mob, then it won’t generate the debuff to power up Acheron.
