Slate, Why Neglect That Light's Shade Summary
- Step 1: Investigate the Cleaner and search for clues
- Step 2: Meet the Uninvited Guest
- Step 3: Escape the Flame Reaver's pursuit
- Step 4: Ride the platform to higher ground
- Step 5: Go to a high ground and lure the Flame Reaver over
- Step 6: Borrow the Rune of Recollection
- Step 7: Pass through the chains and reach the highest point
- Step 8: Prepare yourself and face the oncoming enemies
Investigate the Cleaner and Search for Clues
Interact with all three Cleaners in the room.
Meet the Uninvited Guest
Exit the room and go down the stairs. A dialogue will start upon doing so.
Escape the Flame Reaver’s Pursuit
Continue onwards until you reach the inner room of the building.
Ride the Platform to Higher Ground
Exit the room and go up the stairs to the left. Use the platform in the room to ascend.
Go to a High Ground and Lure the Flame Reaver Over
Go up the stairs and use the Hidden Passage. Upon jumping to the other side, go up the stairs again.
Borrow the Rune of Recollection
Pick up the nearby Miracle Beacon Rune.
Pass Through the Chains and Reach the Highest Point
With the rune in hand, cross through the chains until you reach the other side.
Prepare Yourself and Face the Oncoming Enemies
Put the rune back and enter the building. After a dialogue, you will be fighting against the Flame Reaver and its Long-Shattered Vessels as Cipher and her clones. Make use of Cipher's skill whenever you can as it can hit 3 enemies at once.
Upon defeating the Flame Reaver, a series of scenes will play and this mission will end afterwards.
