How to Complete The Departed Will Return First
- Step 1: Head to Aideen Park
- Step 2: Investigate the Unusual Occurrence
- Step 3: Find the Distorted Afterecho
- Step 4: Tune the Dreamscape
- Step 5: Continue Your Journey of Reflection
- Step 6: Go With Welt to See His Companions
Head to Aideen Park
After talking with Wonweek, head to Aideen Park. Here, you'll encounter more Bloodhound Family Members. Talk to them and then you'll be given a list of unusual things to check out in the park. After the dialogue, head to the first thing to investigate which is a food stand.
Investigate the Unusual Occurrence
Approach the floating ice cream cone near the food stand to investigate the first unusual occurrence. Proceed with the dialogue and head to the next one, located on the stage in the park's center.
Approach the Stage
You'll be directed to the stage, so approach it and more dialogue will happen. Keep going onto the stage and after the talk with Wonweek, you'll be prompted to investigate two more occurrences.
Play Golden Capsule Machine
Head to the Golden Capsule Machine nearby and interact with it. You'll need a bottlecap to play it, which you'll get later. After the dialogue, head to the last occurrence to investigate.
Interact With Trashcan
Go to the trashcan near the red fire hydrant and interact with it. You'll be prompted to give it something and be presented with different options. If you pick the other options, nothing happens. Choose Trash and proceed.
You'll obtain Pleasant-Looking Trash in return. If you keep feeding the trashcan with Pleasant-Looking Trash, it will eventually disappear and give you Sanctity of the Trashcan.
Talk to Bubble Hound
Next, head to the Bubble Hound near the slot machines to get the bottlecap needed for the capsule machine. Proceed with the dialogue to receive a SoulGlad Bottle Cap. Go back to the capsule machine.
Use SoulGlad Bottle Cap on the Capsule Machine
Use the SoulGlad Bottle Cap on the Gold Capsule Machine. It will give you a capsule, so go ahead and interact with it. A battle occurs after opening the capsule. After the fight, talk with Wonweek and you'll gain the ability Discernment Tuning.
Find the Distorted Afterecho
Using the ability, follow the notes and it'll lead you to distorted afterechoes. It will be located on top of a pool table. Investigate it and more dialogue occurs.
Tune the Dreamscape
Use the ability to see more notes and follow them towards the highlighted area. More dialogue will happen and you'll be prompted to follow the golden notes. Follow them and in the next area, you'll encounter Welt.
Continue Your Journey of Reflection
After talking with Welt, continue using the ability to follow the golden notes and cross the street. Upon reaching the next area, you'll be stopped by Welt. Talk with him and after the dialogue, you'll be escorted by Welt to his companions.
Go With Welt to See His Companions
Use the tuning ability and head towards the next area. Go down the stairs and take a right where more dialogue will happen. Talk with the Astral Express members and after the talk, the mission ends!
