Acheron, Jiaoqiu, and Silver Wolf are Stage 1's trial characters.
You can use the Trial Characters in Stage 1 to clear all objectives. Use Acheron to take out the mobs of enemies while Jiaoqiu and Silver Wolf inflict debuffs on enemies to stack up Slashed Dream.
As for the fourth slot, you can use any Sustain unit, preferably ones that can inflict debuffs on enemies.

Codex Effect: All allies gain Early Reveal, lasting for 2 turns. During the effect period, after every attack, attack all enemies that have been hit 1 time and inflict the Startled debuff on them, increasing DMG taken by 5%. This effect can stack 4 times. |

Early Reveal will be your best Codex since it provides debuffs that will help stack up Acheron's Slashed Dream. Blu Bull will increase Acheron's Ultimate DMG, which helps annihilate the summoned mobs.
How to Beat Topaz Dreamscape Training
Take Out the Mobs with Acheron's Ultimate
In the Topaz Dreamscape Training, focus on taking out the mobs with Acheron's Ultimate or inflicting Weakness Break on them to collect Performance Points and gain a lot of Vibes.
The mobs will keep reappearing until the boss of the current phase is defeated.
Inflict Weakness Break on the Main Boss
Your end goal for each Phase is to inflict Weakness Break on the Main Boss. If a boss is Weakness Broken, they can receive a lot more damage and you can easily defeat them with one or two Ultimates.
