This Feixiao team does very well in this boss fight because their Follow-up ATKs can put Hoolay's Irate stacks down to zero. Feixiao and Topaz will deal considerable Follow-up ATK DMG to Hoolay and his minions.

Use Robin to increase everyone's Follow-up ATK DMG and advance everyone in the turn order using her Ultimate.

Yunli Counter Team

Characters with Counters such as Yunli or Clara are also effective in this boss fight. Hoolay's fast attacks can be used against him since hitting Yunli will trigger a Follow-up attack.

You will need the energy restoration from Tingyun and Huohuo to activate Yunli's Ultimate as soon as possible.

Firefly Break Team

Use the Firefly and the Harmony Trailblazer to deal a lot of Super Break DMG to Hoolay and his minions. Firefly can implant the Fire Weakness onto the Eclipse Wolftrooper summons.

Use Ruan Mei to increase the party's Break efficiency and delay the enemies' recovery from Weakness Break.

Use March 7th's Skill on Dan Heng to increase his CRIT DMG when March uses an Enhanced Basic ATK. Save everyone's Ultimates until Hoolay enters the Moon Rage state so that they can be used to reduce Irate stacks.

The Fire Trailblazer and Natasha can help keep the party alive from Hoolay's fast and wide attacks.

How to Beat Borisin Warhead - Hoolay

Take Out the Wolftrooper Summons

Hoolay can summon Wolftroopers to attack and help stack up Bloodlust. When Hoolay has enough Bloodlust stacks, he can enter the Moon Rage state.

Take out the Wolftrooper summons to delay the Moon Rage state and decrease Hoolay's SPD.

Focus on Hoolay When He Enters Moon Rage

When Hoolay enters the Moon Rage state, he can collect Irate stacks to unleash Lupine Chase Calls Bloody Gleam, a powerful attack with a high chance of inflicting Terror Grip.

Focus all your attacks on Hoolay to remove Irate stacks. When Hoolay has no more Irate stacks, his Toughness will be reduced.

Save Your Ultimates For the Moon Rage State

If your characters can deal DMG with their Ultimate, use them after Hoolay has entered the Moon Rage state. This will allow your characters to decrease the Irate stacks before the enemy's turn starts.
