The best team for Day 4 consists of the Trial Characters available for the stage. Himeko and Xueyi will be your DPS characters while Ruan Mei increases your Weakness Break efficiency and Lynx provides healing.
Use Himeko and Xueyi's AoE attacks to bring down the Toughness of all enemies on the field much faster. This will help raise your Grit Values and activate the buffs of higher Grit Phases.
Best Support Functions for Day 4

Grit Phase 2 (Option) Breaking any enemy's Weakness will dispel the boss enemy's Weakness Protection until the boss enemy takes their turn again. Increases all allies' Weakness Break efficiency by 50% and deals a set amount of additional DMG to enemies that already have their Weakness Broken. |

We recommend using the Expose Weakness and Pursuer Support functions so that it'll be easier to Weakness Break boss enemies even outside of Grit Phase 4.
How to Beat Weakness Assault
Weakness Break Other Enemies First
Boss enemies will have Weakness Protection that prevents you from reducing their Toughness. With the Pursuer Support Function equipped, you can Weakness Break other enemies to remove it. Try to Weakness Break enemies with weaker Toughness bars first.
Reach Bronya During the Third Cycle
Based on our test runs, you should be fighting Bronya during the 3rd cycle or earlier to perfect Day 4. Follow the same strategy of getting Weakness Breaks on other enemies first.
Target Bosses When Protection is Gone
Once the boss has their Weakness Protection gone, you can start focusing your attacks on them. Use AoE attacks so that you can also target other enemies on the field and raise your Grit Value.
Spam Your Attacks in Grit Phase 4
In Grit Phase 4, all enemies on the field will be Weakness Broken, so you can freely spam as many attacks as you can. Keep the boss as your main target so that they get the brunt of the damage.

Weakness Assault is the Day 4 stage of Tides of War where you Weakness Break enemies to earn extra Grit Value. In this stage, Erudition and other AoE characters will be the best ones to use for Day 4.
