F2P Team | |||
---|---|---|---|
Serval | Trailblazer | March 7th | Natasha |
Bring in Serval and Trailblazer (Physical) since Ten Stonehearts - Aventurine of Stratagems is weak to their elements. Both DPS have AoE abilities that can attack multiple All or Nothings.
To keep them alive, bring in March 7th to provide shields and dish out some follow-up attacks. For the healer, Natasha is the best option due to her element.
If you have the other 5-star or 4-star characters mentioned below, you can replace the F2P characters above for them. Defeating the boss using a strict free to play team is difficult to achieve unless you are really lucky.
Alternative | Explanation |
---|---|
Herta | DPS Replacement Herta can be Serval's replacement since she can also dish out some AoE DMG with her kit. She will not have a hard time winning Aventurine's Gambles because of her Skill and Ultimate. |
Acheron DPS | |||
---|---|---|---|
Acheron | Jiaoqiu | Pela | Gallagher |
Acheron is a solid DPS against Ten Stonehearts - Aventurine of Stratagems since he is weak to Lightning. Bringing in two other Nihility units is ideal for a team with Acheron since you will be able to max out the DMG buff from her Bonus Ability.
With this, Jiaoqiu and Pela can debuff Ten Stonehearts - Aventurine of Stratagems on their turn to stack up Acheron's Slashed Dream.
Alternative | Explanation |
---|---|
Jing Yuan | DPS Replacement You can replace Acheron with Jing Yuan if you do not have her. Jing Yuan's AoE abilities can easily allow him to win Aventurine's Gamble. Do note that if Jing Yuan gets inflicted with Imprisonment, his Lightning-Lord will not take its turn. |
Fu Xuan | Healer Replacement Fu Xuan can increase the party's CRIT Rate and mitigate the DMG taken. Her Ultimate can heal the party, making it easier to survive longer. |
Aventurine | Healer Replacement Aventurine can provide shields to the party and can even implant a CRIT DMG debuff on his enemy counterpart. |
Premium DoT Team | |||
---|---|---|---|
Kafka | Black Swan | Ruan Mei | Luocha |
A DoT-based team with Kafka as the Main DPS and Black Swan as the secondary DPS will work great against Ten Stonehearts - Aventurine of Stratagems.
Use Ruan Mei to increase Break Efficiency and delay the enemy's recovery from Weakness Break. Luocha can provide healing and use his Ultimate to attack all of the All or Nothing dice.
Alternative | Explanation |
---|---|
Serval | Sub-DPS Replacement Although Serval is not a Nihility character, she can still add more Lightning damage and DoT for the team. With her AoE abilities she can easily win Aventurine's Gamble. So, you can replace Luka with Serval if you do not have him. |
Huohuo | Healer Replacement While Aventurine is not weak to Wind, you can replace Luocha with Huohuo. She can regenerate some of the team's energy using her Ultimate, which they may need during Aventurine's Gamble. But, do not expect her to win most of Aventurine's Gamble unless you are lucky. If Huohuo dies and she is the team's only sustain unit, you basically lose the boss fight. |
Argenti DPS | |||
---|---|---|---|
Argenti | Sparkle | Tingyun | Huohuo |
If you want to run a Physical team, Argenti is the best DPS to use against Ten Stonehearts - Aventurine of Stratagems due to his AoE abilities. Use Sparkle to provide extra turns and DMG buffs to Argenti.
Tingyun and Huohuo can provide energy restoration so that Argenti can use his Ultimate frequently.
Alternative | Explanation |
---|---|
Pela | Support Replacement Pela can decrease the DEF of all enemies using her Ultimate. She can also cover Aventurine's weakness to Ice. |
Hanya | Support Replacement Hanya can provide more Skill Points for Aventurine to use. She can also use Penacony, Land of the Dreams to increase Argenti's DMG even further. |
Silver Wolf | Support Replacement Silver Wolf can inflict several debuffs that are useful in defeating Aventurine. |
Fu Xuan | Healer Replacement With Silver Wolf in the team, you can replace Luocha with Fu Xuan. She has a high chance of winning Aventurine's gamble with her Ultimate. Depending on your Fu Xuan's build, her heals may not be enough to keep the team alive. |
Jingliu DPS | |||
---|---|---|---|
Jingliu | Bronya | Pela | Huohuo |
If you have Jingliu, you can use her as your DPS to fight Ten Stonehearts - Aventurine of Stratagems. Bronya and Pela can provide Support through DMG buffs and DEF shred respectively.
Alternative | Explanation |
---|---|
Gepard | Support Replacement If you are struggling to beat Aventurine, you can replace one of the supports for Gepard to ensure that Jingliu does not die. We do not recommend swapping out Bailu for Gepard since his shields may not be enough to keep the team alive as Jingliu also drains her allies HP. |
March 7th | Support Replacement You can replace one of your supports with March 7th. Her Skill can shield allies and every time Aventurine attacks that ally, she does a follow-up attack. Her Ultimate also damages all enemies on the field, allowing March 7th to win Aventurine's gamble. |
Lynx | Healer Replacement If you do not have Bailu, Lynx is a possible substitute for this boss fight. Unlike Bailu, Lynx can cleanse debuffs. Cleanse is useful against Aventurine since his abilities can inflict Imprisonment. If Lynx's heals are not enough you can add in a Preservation character like Gepard or March 7th. |
Throughout the fight, Ten Stonehearts - Aventurine of Stratagems will initiate a Gamble and summon several All or Nothings for you to freely attack.
During the first phase, only a single character from your team will enter the Gamble while the others will be disabled. In the second phase, everyone in the team will enter the Gamble.
When Ten Stonehearts - Aventurine of Stratagems starts a Gamble, characters must attack All or Nothings and aim to get a score higher than him. Note that his score will already be shown at the start of a Gamble. Also, each character will have their own score.
Characters who win the Gamble will recharge their Ultimate instantly. Their DMG will also be amplified. It is worth mentioning that when a draw occurs, nothing will happen. So, no buffs will be obtained.
Avoid losing the Gamble against Ten Stonehearts - Aventurine of Stratagems in the second phase since he will attack all characters that will lose the Gamble. The attack has a chance to inflict Imprisonment. Losers will then gain a debuff that increases their DMG taken.
Do not use abilities that will not deal DMG when Ten Stonehearts - Aventurine of Stratagems summons All or Nothings. Ideally, you want to use AoE abilities that will be able to attack multiple All or Nothings!

◆ | Time For A Bet (Ability) Summons "All or Nothing" and makes a single target enter the Gamble. Every time an "All or Nothing" is attacked by a target that is in the Gamble, the target will receive a random number between 1 and 6. After a target that is in the Gamble has finished their turn, targets with numbers lower than "Aventurine of Stratagems" are considered to have lost the bet and will be attacked, while those with a number higher than "Aventurine of Stratagems" are considered to have won the bet and will have their Ultimate activated. At the same time, targets that have not entered the Gamble are afflicted with the "Look, Don't Speak" status, which is dispelled when the Gamble ends. |

Currently, Ten Stonehearts - Aventurine of Stratagems can only be fought in the Trailblaze Mission called A Walk Among the Tombstones. We will update this section if he can be encountered elsewhere!
A Walk Among the Tombstones Mission Guide
There is no guaranteed way to get the Boxcars achievement since it relies on RNG. This is because the achievement requires you to cause at least two All or Nothings to roll a 6 simultaneously in a single attack.
We recommend using characters like Pela and Argenti since they have abilities that can hit every All or Nothings on the battlefield.
If you have yet to obtain this achievement and the battle is about to end, consider retreating the fight in order to try unlocking it again!
To get the All My People, All My People… achievement, you need to reach the second phase of the boss fight since this is where everyone in the team will be forced to join Ten Stonehearts - Aventurine of Stratagems's Gamble.
Do not use your Ultimates that deal DMG until Ten Stonehearts - Aventurine of Stratagems summons All or Nothings. This way, your characters can attack multiple times in one turn, increasing your chances of four characters winning the Gamble in the same round.
All Enemies and Weaknesses Guide
I beat this with lv 70 Phys TB, Natasha, Serval and Gepard. All lv 70 LCs and max purple/yellow relics. You basically want to beef up as much of Gepard's DEF and have as much HP on Natasha through relics/lightcones/traces. As you lose the gambles with Gepard or Natasha you can survive and use your shield/heal ults every 2 cycles or so. Also used the Preservation LC on Gepard that applies burn DOT when he gets hit and you can patiently drain him with DOTs and Basic ATK. Slow n steady wins this.

One more thing is the RNG for phase 1. Every time I tried this boss, Gepard was the only one selected for the gamble so he always lost. Not sure if SPD plays a factor because he has the lowest SPD on my team. Natasha had 4.4K HP and Gepard 2.6K DEF. Serval 1.7K ATK and TB 1.5K ATK. You could maybe use M7 if you don't have Gepard just manage your SP for individual shields on whoever can't AOE for the gamble mode. Phase 2 was really saved by Gepard and Natasha HP/DEF for the team.
