Stellaron Hunter - Sam Information | |
---|---|
Stellaron Hunter - Sam | |
Weaknesses | |
Resistances | Control Effects RES |
F2P Team | |||
---|---|---|---|
Serval | Qingque | Yukong | Natasha |
For your DPS, bring in Serval and Qingque since Stellaron Hunter: Sam is weak to their elements. To support them, add Yukong to increase their ATK and CRIT. For the team's healer, Natasha is your best option since she can cleanse Stellaron Hunter: Sam's Burn.
Kafka and Black Swan DPS | |||
---|---|---|---|
Kafka | Black Swan | Silver Wolf | Huohuo |
Since Stellaron Hunter: Sam is weak to Lightning, Kafka is a viable main DPS against them. If you have Silver Wolf, you can add Black Swan to the team since she shines in DoT-centric teams with Kafka as the DPS
Huohuo's role is to heal her allies, cleanse Stellaron Hunter: Sam's Burn, and regenerate Energy. Huohuo will not mess up Silver Wolf's Weakness Implant since she is also a Wind character like Black Swan.
Seele DPS | |||
---|---|---|---|
Seele | Bronya | Ruan Mei | Fu Xuan |
You can run a team where Seele is your sole DPS and bring in Bronya to give Seele additional turns. This pairing allows you to quickly deplete Stellaron Hunter: Sam's Molten Energy, increasing DMG against him and recovering Skill Points.
Again, Ruan Mei can be the second support of the team due to her ability to increase everyone's Break Efficiency. Fu Xuan's role is to tank the damage from Stellaron Hunter: Sam's attacks.
Imbibitor Lunae DPS | |||
---|---|---|---|
Imbibitor Lunae | Tingyun | Yukong | Luocha |
If you want to run an Imaginary team, Imbibitor Lunae is the best DPS to use due to his enhanced Basic ATKs consuming a lot of Skill Points, which will easily deplete Stellaron Hunter: Sam's Molten Energy.
Tingyun and Yukong can be added to the team to increase Imbibitor Lunae's overall DMG. Luocha's role is to passively heal everyone and dispel Stellaron Hunter: Sam's Burn.
In the Secondary Combustion state, Stellaron Hunter: Sam becomes stronger but consumes his HP with every attack. Also, Skill Points become combusted. This means that every time a character uses a Skill Point, they will receive Fire DMG.
However, consuming Skill Points also depletes Stellaron Hunter: Sam's Molten Energy. Once the boss' Molten Energy is depleted, they will take increased DMG and Skill Points will also be recovered for all allies.
Make sure to use Skill Points to attack Stellaron Hunter: Sam every turn during Secondary Combustion to deplete his Molten Energy faster and burst him down once it's out!
Stellaron Hunter: Sam can inflict Burn with his attacks and during Secondary Combustion, all healing except self-healing is reduced massively. This makes Abundance characters without any cleanse less effective and Preservation characters more valuable.
With this, consider bringing Preservation characters like Gepard or Fu Xuan that can shield or reduce damage taken. Alternatively, you can bring an Abundance character like Huohuo to cleanse Sam's Burn debuffs and heal some of the damage you take.

All Talents and Abilities | |
---|---|
◆ | BHF - Fiery Advance (Ability) Deals minor Fire DMG to a single target. |
◆ | BHF - Heavenly Fire (Ability) Deals minor Fire DMG to a single target and any adjacent targets. |
◆ | BBHF - Scorched Earth (Ability) Deals minor Fire DMG to all targets. |
◆ | DHGDR - Secondary Combustion (Ability) Consumes HP to enter the Secondary Combustion state and dispells the Weakness Protected effect. Becomes significantly more powerful in this state, but all attacks consume HP. |
◆ | DHGDR - Supernova Overload (Ability) Deals Fire DMG to all targets, with a high chance to Burn them. |
◆ | SGE - Molten Core (Talent) After entering Secondary Combustion, Combusts the area and targets' Skill Points. When consuming Combusted Skill Points, targets lose HP and additionally deal a set amount of Fire DMG equal to a certain percentage of the original DMG. When they receive healing from other characters, the amount of HP restored is massively reduced. |
◆ | SGE - Molten Engine (Talent) While in Secondary Combustion, Sam possesses Molten Energy. A corresponding amount of Molten Energy can be depleted upon being attacked with Skills using Combusted Skill Points. When Molten Energy is depleted, dispels Secondary Combustion. When Secondary Combustion is dispelled, Sam receives increased DMG, and recovers Skill Points back to full for the targets. |
Stellaron Hunter: Sam can be encountered during the Whodunit Trailblaze Mission.
Stellaron Hunter: Sam can also be fought as one of the bosses in the Divergent Universe, a game mode for the Simulated Universe.
The first achievement called Ignite My Heart, Inflame My Flesh is easy to get. It requires you to lower a character's health below 5% by making them cast a Skill during Stellaron Hunter: Sam's Secondary Combustion state.
If your character dies after earning the achievement, you can just restart the battle to get the next one!
When Stellaron Hunter: Sam enters the Secondary Combustion state, attack them five times using Skills before they cast DHGDR - Supernova Overload. You will then get the achievement called Quiet Burning.
The icon marked in the image acts as an indicator as to how many times you still need to attack Stellaron Hunter: Sam for them to exit the state.
For this achievement, we recommend using Imbibitor Lunae if you have him. This is because using Fulgurant Leap counts as consuming three Skill Points!

My whole team (Jing Yuan, Qingque, Imbibitor Lunae and Bailu), except Bailu, died. I literally defeated him by healing her again and again.
