Guardian Shadow has an ability where it can set a specific rule and those who break it will get damaged. Check the rules before performing any action to avoid receiving any follow-up attacks from Guardian Shadow. They can either be using a skill, doing a basic attack, or damaging Guardian Shadow.
Fighting Decaying Shadow can become a long battle, especially when you encounter a formidable one. Try to bring at least one healer to your party to keep everyone alive and avoid losing the fight.

All Enemies and Weaknesses Guide
Simple, Just bring some counterattack characters, like Clara and March 7th and it'll take a payback from them. Additionally, from my experiences fighting with it: Blade, Silver Wolf, Qingque, and some doctors if you need. Also Himeko to bring in if Guardian Shadow was broke, It'll take another payback from Himeko. I don't recommend Sampo and Seele as they'll ruin your fun see it taking paybacks from you. Rules are made to be broken, and I never follow those nonsense bans.
