Two new relics are in Version 2.1. Sigonia, the Unclaimed Desolation and Izumo Gensei and Takama Divine Realm can be obtained through the new Simulated Universe World 9!

Aventurine will be a boss in Version 2.1, known as Ten Stonehearts: Aventurine of Stratagems! He'll be having a showdown with the players and will likely be fought during the Trailblaze Mission.
The Shape of Ire is another boss where you can get the new drop material for new Fire characters!

Penacony will have two new additional areas in the form of Dewlight Pavilion and Clark Studios Theme Park!
All New 2.1 Items
The new character ascension materials are Raging Heart that you can get from the Shape of Ire Stagnant Shadow located in the Dewlight Pavilion.
There are also new Crimson Calyxes in Penacony which will yield new trace materials for new characters starting in 2.1. The new trace materials are Scattered Stardust for Preservation Characters, and Alien Tree Seed for Abundance Characters.
