Players must defeat members of Dreamjolt TV who have hijacked Penacony's TV signal! The event will have five stages with different key enemies to face in each one. Each stage will unlock daily, but you can only challenge the final stage after completing the prior stages.
Each key enemy has their own Mutation Mechanic. These mechanics open up weaknesses in the key enemy that you can use to defeat them more easily!
The regular stages in the event are split into two phases. Buff Buildup is the first phase where you will have 4 cycles to raise your Stage Buff rank. This can be done by repeatedly triggering the stage's Mutation Mechanic.
Stage Buffs will make your team a lot more powerful, especially with higher ranks. Your Stage Buff rating will also increase as you rank up, with the highest being Gold. Make the most of the Buff Buildup phase to defeat enemies much quicker!
Once the Buff Buildup phase is over, the Final Showdown will start. Here, you will have 6 cycles to defeat as many enemies as you can! Take note that you can't raise your Stage Buff anymore in this phase.
The amount of enemies defeated will determine your final score for the stage. If you're able to defeat all enemies in less than 6 cycles, you'll also get additional points!
After completing all regular stages, you will be able to challenge the final stage. The final stage will no longer be split into two phases. Simply defeat as many enemies as you can within 6 cycles!
In the last stage, you can select any two of the Stage Buffs that you've earned from the previous stages. They will inherit the highest rank you were able to reach during said challenges.
