How to Unlock the Clara Critter
The Clara Critter is a hidden Rare Creation that you can unlock by completing a hidden mission. After saving Pure Sugar Child from Juvenile Stings, the creation's recipe will be unlocked in the Research Handbook.
How to Get Rare Creations
Step-By-Step Process
- Step 1: Progress the Critter Pick Event Quests
- Step 2: Select Creations with the Target Traits
- Step 3: Repeatedly Nurture Creations
- Step 4: Have Creations Inherit Multiple Traits
Progress the Critter Pick Event Quests
You can unlock recipes for Rare Creations by progressing through the Critter Pick event missions. These Nurture Recipes can be viewed in the Research Handbook!
Select Creations with the Target Traits
When choosing parental creations to combine in the Lifeform Oven, you'll want both creations to have most of the target traits in the recipe. This can help lessen the chances of getting an unwanted trait in the resulting creation!
Repeatedly Nurture Creations
Although you can target specific traits, mutation events are random. However, you can repeat the nurturing process to raise your Resolution Rate, which increases your chances of getting Special Mutations that grant a Rare Creation!
Have Creations Inherit Multiple Traits
Since you can only combine two parental creations at a time, you may need to combine critters to have them inherit multiple base traits. Check out our Lifeform Oven guide to see all the possible traits you can mix and match!

Collect All Rare Creations Achievement
After you collect all rare creations in Critter Pick, you will unlock the achievement, The Tame-A-Gotcha Is Hungry Again! Apart from making the rare creations you unlock throughout the event missions, you will need to find the Clara Critter to fully complete the index.

Anonymous almost 2 yearsThis part of the seclusion zone you hear some creations talking about a creation that got swallowed by a true sting/bug in that area defeating it will free the creation that looks like clara I think you have to complete the critter pick missions first though

So, I'm at the part of the critter pick: care quest and I need to reach research level 4. I have 190/200 research points but I already have every special mutation possible, and it seems impossible to get new research points from combinations. I'm at a loss as to what I should do now. Does anybody have advice?
