In the second room of the Haunted House, you can obtain the Square Rice Ball by interacting with a container to the right of the locked door.

Haunted House Event Quest Guide

Give It to the Critter in the Third Room

In the third room of the Haunted House, look for the pile of boxes to the right of Guinaifen and Sushang. Then, use the Old Bell to lure out the critter inside it. A courier package will then make its way out of the pile.

After that, give the rice ball to the Critter in a Box. Finally, follow the handprints on the wall to progress the event mission.
