Honkai Star Rail - Obsequies Performed, A Long Road Ahead

To find the Diting Avatar you must first do the Trailblaze Mission called Obsequies Performed, A Long Road Ahead. During this quest you can find different characters (and particularly Diting) around Xianzhou to say goodbye to them before leaving and continuing your Astral Express' journey.

Talk to Diting During the Mission

Star Rail - Xianzhou Characters - Diting Location

After talking with Jing Yuan and your Astral Express companions during the Trailblaze Mission, you will be given a chance to say goodbye to the characters of the Xianzhou Luofu before leaving.

Diting will be located in Central Starskiff Haven, so use the Space Anchor near the stairs to find them. Note that even if you complete the mission, you can still talk to Diting afterwards!

Upon talking to Diting, proceed with the dialogue until it starts to move. Follow Diting and it will lead you to a chest which contains the Diting Profile Picture!
