Night of Universal Hallucinations can be unlocked after reading Pom-Pom's text messages. Pom-Pom will ask you to return to the Parlor Car to assist with the spring cleaning of the Astral Express.

Meet Pom-Pom at the Parlor Car

Teleport to the Parlor Car and speak with Pom-Pom, who'll be standing by March 7th and Himeko. Pom-Pom will allow you to chat with the other crew members before setting off for Washtopia.

Enter the Washtopia Exploratory Excursion

Going to Washtopia is considered as an Exploratory Excursion. Although you can't view the Elite Enemy, you can at least see its weaknesses. Be sure to prepare a team that can cover all of them, since you can't change your party setup later on!

Listed above are all the enemies that can be encountered during Argenti's Companion Mission. We recommend bringing characters whose elements are of Physical, Fire, or Imaginary in order to easily defeat them!

Approach the Mysterious Guest

Shortly after entering Washtopia, the train will experience a collision accident. A mysterious guest will appear in the Parlor Car and he'll be inspecting a potted plant. Approach him to see why he's here.

Engage in Battle with Argenti

The mysterious guest will introduce himself as Argenti. He will challenge you to battle in an attempt to make you understand Idrila and the path of Beauty. For now, you just need to survive his attacks because Welt will eventually come in and stop the fight.

Comfort Velite Nearby

Welt will ask you to comfort Velite, another guest who boarded the Astral Express with Argenti. He'll be standing near Welt and Argenti. Velite will recount what happened to him thus far until a loud sound interrupts the conversation.

Ask Pom-Pom About What Happened

Go to Pom-Pom and ask them about the loud sound. Pom-Pom guesses that it came from either the passenger or conductor's cabins. March 7th decides it's better for the rest of the crew to check out their own rooms.

Defeat the Juvenile Stings

After a short cutscene, the rest of the crew will be worried about March 7th's lack of response. Enter her room and you'll need to defeat a couple of Juvenile Stings in battle.

If you have an Imaginary character in your party, they should be easy to get rid of. Try to prioritize one enemy at a time since defeating one will deal blast DMG to other enemies.

Talk to Himeko in the Parlor Car

After the battle, head back to the Parlor Car and talk to Himeko to see what to do next. There seems to be evidence of an infestation on the train that needs to be investigated.

Scan the Omni-Synthesizer

You'll need to scan around the Parlor Car with your camera to see if there are any Swarm eggs. Your first target is the Omni-Synthesizer. Keep the camera still once you have the target in focus. Once the scan is complete, you'll find an egg on it.

Scan the Phonograph

After scanning the Omni-Synthesizer, go over to the Phonograph and scan it with the camera. More eggs will be there as well.

Scan Welt with the Camera

Next, head over to Welt and scan him too. Apart from noticing his gray hair, he luckily won't have any eggs on him.

Scan Pom-Pom with the Camera

The last target to scan will be Pom-Pom. Thankfully, their fur will be all clear as well.

View Security Footage with Pom-Pom

To look around faster, take a look at the camera footage with Pom-Pom and go through all rooms. You'll find Argenti with another Sting in Dan Heng's room.

Help Argenti Defeat the Stings

Argenti's been fooled by the Sting's hallucination. Go to Dan Heng's room and defeat the Stings in battle. There will be Lesser Stings this time, which you should prioritize first.

Consult Welt in the Parlor Car

After the battle and a brief conversation with Argenti, head back to the Parlor Car and consult with Welt. He will offer an idea on how to get the Astral Express out of the Giant Sting's body.

Talk to the Rest of the Crew

Since the crew's morale is going down due to the events, talk to the others around the Parlor Car to comfort them and get their thoughts on the situation.

Hear Out Argenti's Plan

Argenti will ask to have a chat with you alone. He plans to sacrifice himself by defeating the Giant Sting on his own. Although you have the option to support him or not, neither choices will convince him to back down from his plan.

Defeat Argenti in Battle

To honor his wishes to conclude the battle you never got to finish with him, you'll have to defeat Argenti for real this time.

Argenti will also start summoning The Honored at this point, which gives him a DMG Boost. Be sure to take these summons out quickly, especially since you get buffed in return.

Argenti Enemy Guide

Tell Welt and Velite about the Plan

After battling with Argenti, talk to Welt about Argenti's Plan. Velite will join the conversation and hear about it too. Although he's been troubled by him, he still wishes to stop Argenti from putting himself in danger.

Try to Stop Argenti with Velite

Talk with Argenti once more to try and stop him from going through with this plan. Despite Velite's protests, Argenti will remain firm about his decision. A cutscene will play shortly afterwards and the Astral Express will make a successful escape.

Tell Himeko What You Think Beauty Is

Himeko will ask you what you think beauty is. You get a couple of choices, but they only seem to provide short, additional comments. Ultimately, Himeko states that beauty takes many forms and wonders what the Knights of Beauty are seeking out.

Respond to Argenti's Message

After the conversation, Argenti will send you a text asking if everyone's alright. Everyone's shocked to see he's alive, but relieved nonetheless. Argenti's quest is now wrapped up after this.

Where to find Argenti's Letter

Face of Fourteen Illusions Location

Right after Argenti's quest, you can find a letter he left behind in the Parlor Car. The readable is called Face of Fourteen Illusions and seems to be a confession from Argenti.
