You want to use characters with follow-up attacks due to the Memory Turbulence. Blade is a great unit for this stage due to his AoE Ultimate and Talent. Jing Yuan is also viable for this stage due to his Lightning Lord. You can create a mono-Lightning team with him!
While Quantum is the recommended type in-game, it's best to just reserve your Quantum characters for the second half of stage 4 instead since it will be most effective against its boss.

The Abundant Ebon Deer is weak to Quantum, Ice, and Fire so characters with these elements are great fo this half. Additionally, Imaginary characters can also be brought since the Twigs of the Ebon Deer are weak to Imaginary!

To quickly clear the first two waves of the first half, Use your units' AoE abilities to defeat the trash mobs. You want to efficiently clear the waves with normal enemies to increase your chances of beating the stage with at least 12 cycles left!
We recommend defeating the Ice Out of Space enemy first since its abilities have a chance to Freeze its targets. You'll have a hard time beating this half if your healer is frozen since both elite enemies on Wave 3 have AoE attacks that can potentially wipe out your team!
As the Abundant Deer summons more Twigs to aid itself in battle, it will be harder for you to defeat it. While it may be difficult to destroy all of the Twigs, try to at least break their shields so that they can't use their abilities during the fight!
The Twig of Lavish Fruits charges the Abundant Ebon Deer's Ultimate. If you don't want to get your team wiped, we recommend defeating this Twig right away!
The Abundant Ebon Deer can buff its DEF using Hardy Leaf Sheath. The Twig of Marple Leaf can also enhance the Abundant Ebon Deer's ATK. With this, use characters that have buff removal abilities such as Luocha and Pela!

I understand the concept of saying the best characters for each part, but how is it helpful if they're the same characters for both parts? :/
