The Past Will Return as an Avalanche can be unlocked once you reach Trailblaze Level 14 or above and have completed A Sunset Rendezvous mission.
A Sunset Rendezvous Mission Guide
| Quest Walkthrough | |
|---|---|
| 1 | Follow the quest marker to go to Rivet Town. Once you reach the destination, a short cutscene will give you a tour of the town. A short conversation will then follow. |
| 2 | Search for the Supplies around the area. Warning: Some of the monsters in the area are Levels 20 and above. Make sure to level up your characters to bridge the level disparity. |
| 3 | Once you reach the target area, investigate crates. Finish the conversation between Bronya and Seele to continue exploring the area. |
| 4 | As you approach the next area, you will encounter an NPC named Eric in a cutscene. Note: There's a chest nearby that you can access after solving a simple puzzle. |
| 5 | Go to the orphanage to search for more supplies. A fight against Ice Out of Space will trigger once the cutscene ends. Warning: Prepare and heal up your team before interacting with the supplies in the orphanage. |
| 6 | Defeat Ice Out of Space. After beating it, continue looking for the supplies. |
| 7 | After collecting all the supplies in the orphanage, a cutscene will start in which Bronya will try to recall her past. |
| 8 | Look around the orphanage to collect the last of the supplies. You will encounter Clara in the final cutscene of this mission. |
| 9 | Talk to Seele to clear the mission. This will trigger the next mission, Lying in Rust. |
