As the first boss of the game the Doomsday Beast is conventiently weak to the elements of the story characters, but also each part is weak to Fire a making rare case for a single element team.

How to Beat Doomsday Beast

Go for Weakness Breaks

The Doomsday Beast's attacks can prove fatal after a few turns early in the battle if you let it be. You can try to slow it down by going for weakness breaks against it's body parts.

If you're on your first battle against the boss, the default party (Trailblazer, Dan Heng, March 7th, and Himeko (Trial)) should be enough to perform weakness breaks on the Doomsday Beast!

Don't Use Skills When Doomsday is Down (1st Phase)

Doomsday Beast will miss several turns once it's down, giving you enough chances to deplete its HP. Use normal attacks only once it's down, especially on the first phase, to save up Skill Points for the second phase or for your DPS so they can use their skills.

It will be easier to get the upper hand and end the battle quickly this way!

Get an Abundance or Preservation Character

Having one Abundance or Preservation character will help your team survive the Doomsday Beast's onslaught. Abundance characters usually heals teammates, while Preservation characters mostly provides shields or defense buffs.
