HSR's powercreep is normal for a company that tries to make money while keeping the game interesting with lots of newer characters. Other games like GI and WuWa don't have the concept of literally visiting entire planets with great and impactful characters, but rather only a couple of people from their respected region and making only them playable. I get the hate, but this game is completely different than the other ones and needs to be treated as such. It's profit and entertainment.

Lol If HSR powercreep was normal the devs wouldn't be buffing older characters. If powecreep was normal Firefly wouldn't need E2 to be mildly usable these days. Also funnily enough Firefly is getting buffed too. Characters that are supposedly fine don't tend to get their kits updated...
HSR's powercreep is normal. As someone who only build two teams in each version (Firefly and Feixiai in Version 2, The Herta and Castorice in Version 3), it doesn't take much effort to regularly clear all of the endgames comfortably. For you own sake, stop having prejudice, it will only suck the enjoyment out of a video game which you suppose to enjoy. There's also an option to quit and find your other source of enjoyment instead. Expect what you expect from a fudging gacha game and enjoy yours.
Hsr powercreep is horrible. As someone who has Acheron (fair build) and just got The Herta (sus build skill is lvl 8) it hurts to see my triple crowned Acheron get screwed by my sus the herta... and it's gonna be even worse with Phainon
Even if Saber is new unit her limited stance due to collab could make her wishy-washy, no idea what's hoyo endgame here, but they either go balls to the wall and make saber one up everyone on the game as powerlevel goes, or she's just middle of the pack and never gets reran again, rule of thumb is always new unit = better, and if that unit is a hoyo favorite like herta then expect it to be beyond the realm of normal balancing.

Feixiao, Asta and RM should be moved down a tier, Mydei and Aglaea should be moved up a tier along with Gallagher, Luocha and possibly RMC.
