Star Rail Special Pass for F2P Players

Honkai Star Rail - Star Rail Special pass
It's advisable, as a Free-to-Play (F2P) player, that you purchase the Star Rail Special Pass since purchasing it guarantees that you can get 3x 4-Star Characters or Light Cones from pulling from the Warp Banners.

This can be very beneficial for superimposing Light Cones or getting your character's Eidolons on top of pushing your pity counter up to 30, compared when buying a single 5-Star Light Cone.

Exchange for Light Cones

Star Rail - Light Cones can be classified as weapons
If you're willing to invest money purchasing Oneiric Shards and are frequently pulling on each banner, then purchasing Light Cones in the store will guarantee, especially since you're already pulling enough to get the Light Cones.

This allows you to either quickly superimpose the Light Cones you want or be able to get them if you don't want to wait for their rate-ups to come.

Pull 5-Star and 4-Star Light Cones

4-Star Light Cone x8 Undying Starlight
5-Star Light Cone x40 Undying Starlight

Whenever you pull Light Cones in Warp banners, you gain a certain amount of Undying Starlights!

Get Duplicate Characters

4-Star Character x8 Undying Starlight (2nd to 7th time)
x20 Undying Starlight (8th time onwards)
5-Star Character x40 Undying Starlight (2nd to 7th time)
x100 Undying Starlight (8th time onwards)

Whenever you get a duplicate of a character (whether pulled in Warp banners, redeemed at the shop, or redeemed from the system), you gain a certain amount of Undying Starlights!
