Assuming that Seele can reach the SPD required to max out the DMG buff that In the Night provides, it is no doubt Seele's best in slot since no other Light Cones can provide a better DMG increase. |
 Yanqing
|
Similar to Seele, In the Night is also Yanqing's best in slot if he can reach the SPD requirement to max out the buffs. Fortunately for Yanqing, he he has a high base SPD and a built-in SPD buff in one of his Traces. |
 Sushang
|
Sushang can take advantage of the increased Basic ATK and Skill DMG, as well as the CRIT DMG boost on her Ultimate. These all effectively increase her DMG even further. |
 Dan Heng
|
Dan Heng will also benefit greatly from the DMG buff that In the Night provides. Unfortunately for Dan Heng, it may be harder for him to reach 160 SPD since he does not have any Traces or ability that increase his SPD stat. |
 March 7th (Imaginary)

March 7th (Hunt) benefits greatly from this Light Cone since it increases her Basic ATK DMG and CRIT DMG for every 10 SPD that exceeds 100, which is perfect for her crit build. |

In the Night is a decent Light Cone for Dr. Ratio but other ones like the Baptism of Pure Thought are a better fit for him since it buffs the DMG of his follow-up attack.
Is In the Night Worth It?
Best in Slot for Most Hunt Characters
Assuming that you can gain 6 stacks of its ability, In the Night at S1 is the best Light Cone DMG-wise for Hunt characters whose kit does not revolve around follow-up attacks.
Even when compared to an S5 Cruising in the Stellar Sea, In the Night is simply the better pick. Note that to fully stack In the Night's ability, the wearer needs 160 SPD.
Should You Pull?
In the Night is a must-pull only if you really enjoy using The Hunt characters. For F2P and light spenders, there are more accessible alternatives such as the Cruising in the Stellar Sea that can be used.
While the alternatives are significantly weaker, you will need 160 pulls to guarantee In the Night and it might be better to just save your Stellar Jades for characters instead!

Anonymous over 1 yearThe best workaround is use Asta Ultimate Skill that adds 50 SPD to fully maxed out light cone passive. Combine this with Glamoth Ornaments for best same effects! This applies to all hunt characters wearing 2pc GLAMOTH ORNAMENTS
