You cannot repair damaged cargo in Death Stranding 2 On the Beach (DS2). Read on to learn more about damaged cargo, how to repair cargo containers, and how to minimize cargo damage during orders.

How to Repair Cargo
Damaged Cargo Contents Cannot Be Repaired
Unfortunately, your cargo's contents cannot be repaired once they take damage. This becomes especially punishing on higher difficulties since the cargo container and content damage numbers are higher compared to Story mode.
If you plan to S Rank an order, make sure you plan your route carefully, bringing the necessary tools to make traversing rugged terrain easier. Remember, one bad fall can be the difference between an S and C Rating on delivery.
Only Cargo Containers Can be Repaired
While cargo content cannot be repaired, cargo containers can. You can reverse container damage by using a Container Spray or by hunkering down inside a Timefall Shelter you (or other players) have built.
How to Minimize Cargo Damage

Avoid Dangerous Terrain as Much as Possible
When delivering cargo to facilities, pay attention to your chosen route. Use the route simulator to plan out your path before you embark on a delivery to minimize the risk of dropping or losing your cargo.
Pay Attention to Ongoing Environmental Hazards
Aside from dangerous terrain, make sure to pay attention to any ongoing environmental hazards. Strong Timefall storms will damage your cargo containers, while earthquakes raise the risk of you wiping out and dropping your cargo. Make sure you're aware of potential dangers while on a delivery run.
Use Vehicles to Quickly and Safely Transport Cargo
You can safely transport your cargo by riding vehicles instead of walking. This lessens the risk of damaging your cargo during deliveries. However, do note that large drops in a vehicle will still damage the contents of your cargo even if their containers are not damaged.
