A Magellan Evaluation results in your delivered cargo getting less overall likes in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach (DS2). Read on to learn more about Magellan Evaluations and how to avoid getting them.

If you fast travel using the DHV Magellan while having cargo to be delivered in your backpack, vehicle, or facility storage, you will be hit with a pop-up saying that you'll get a Magellan Evaluation if you fast travel with said cargo.
Essentially, this means that any cargo you bring along while fast traveling with the DHV Magellan will get less likes once you deliver them to their intended destination. This is a penalty that encourages players to take regular delivery routes when transporting cargo.
To avoid getting a Magellan Evaluation (and less likes), you'll want to deliver cargo using regular means. Delivering on foot or using vehicles, roads, and the monorail are considered legitimate, which means they don't get a like penalty if delivered using these methods.
If you don't want to use the DHV Magellan's fast travel mechanic to deliver cargo, you can work on restoring roads (via Auto Pavers) and the monorail (via Tracklayers). These allow you to get from different parts of Australia with ease.
Roads are a particularly good investment since they link to most major facilities and you get a Self-Driving Support APAS Enhancement later on that allows you to drive along roads, hands free.
Despite the main draw of DS1 being delivering on foot, vehicles in Death Stranding 2 are the way to go if you want to mass transport cargo across different regions of Australia. Once your Pickup Off-Roader unlocks the Sticky Cannon attachment, cargo retrieval will start speeding up considerably.
