Carrying Capacity for Increased Loads
Carrying Capacity is a top priority and naturally increases as you transport heavier loads that you must balance more carefully. A higher carrying capacity allows you to haul more cargo and handle weight more efficiently without tiring as quickly. This reduces the chances of you having to leave valuable cargo behind.
You get a bonus amount of kg as you level the stat up:

Endurance for Improved Stamina Management
Having reduced fatigue is a valuable bonus across all aspects of gameplay. Whether you're traversing rough terrain, engaging in combat, or repositioning quickly, having more stamina to spend lets you keep moving longer before running out of energy.
If you’ve got a clear path ahead, take the opportunity to sprint. Doing this helps your Endurance level up:
- Lv1: +0% Fatigue Accumulation
- Lv2: -10% Fatigue Accumulation
- Lv3: -15% Fatigue Accumulation
- Lv4: -20% Fatigue Accumulation
- Lv5: -30% Fatigue Accumulation
Weapon Masteries for Combat
Combat is often unavoidable, and mastering your preferred weapons ensures smoother encounters when fights break out. This especially helps when enemies become tougher as you progress. Focus on leveling up one weapon type, such as Assault Rifles, to get decent with.
Leveling up Melee improves your attack power and combos, while leveling up guns improves reload speed, recoil, and weapon sway.
Terrain Traversal Can Help Ease Travel Pains
You may notice your stamina draining quickly when crossing shallow water or climbing steep hills. Improving your traversal endurance helps you move forward through hazardous terrain without gassing out:
- Lv1: +0% Traversal Endurance
- Lv2: +10% Traversal Endurance
- Lv3: +20% Traversal Endurance
- Lv4: +30% Traversal Endurance
- Lv5: +40% Traversal Endurance
Be Harder to Take Down With KO Resistance
Taking damage from non-lethal weapons, such as fists or rubber bullets, reduces your Consciousness Gauge. This is the yellow bar that appears above your Blood Gauge. If it’s fully depleted, you’ll be knocked out and wake up in a different location, often losing cargo and progress.
Upgrading this stat reduces the amount of damage your Consciousness Gauge takes from non-lethal attacks, helping your survivability during heated encounters.
You can level this up naturally by centering your balance (L2 + R2) while moving around, with each level increasing your KO damage reduction:
- Lv1: +0% KO Damage Reduction
- Lv2: -10% KO Damage Reduction
- Lv3: -15% KO Damage Reduction
- Lv4: -20% KO Damage Reduction
- Lv5: -30% KO Damage Reduction
Lung Capacity Helps Sneaking
Increasing Lung Capacity is a good priority if you want to focus on doing a lot of stealth. Holding your breath is especially effective against BTs, as they’re highly sensitive to sound.
Maximum Lung Capacity increases by a percentage with each level, allowing you to stay silent for longer periods:

- Lv2: +10% Maximum Lung Capacity
- Lv3: +20% Maximum Lung Capacity
- Lv4: +30% Maximum Lung Capacity
- Lv5: +40% Maximum Lung Capacity
Strand Skills Are Great Situationally
Strand Skills should be a top priority if you’re aiming for a close-range stealth playstyle. The Strand allows you to silently take down enemies by binding them from behind.
Leveling up this stat increases the effective range of your stealth takedowns:
- Lv1: +0% Attack Range
- Lv2: +10% Attack Range
- Lv3: +20% Attack Range
- Lv4: +30% Attack Range
- Lv5: +40% Attack Range
How to Increase Stats
Do Unique Actions Related to Each Stat
Stats increase for doing actions related to their stat bonuses. For example, Carrying Capacity improves by carrying loads that exceed the medium weight limit, while Weapon Mastery stats increase through use of the specific weapon.
The stats you use most frequently will naturally increase as you complete orders and travel routes. After resting or reaching your destinations, any earned upgrades are permanently applied.
