Reach Episode 3 to Unlock the Harmonica

Dollman Mentions Harmonica

To unlock the Harmonica, play until you reach Episode 3 (Order No. 008). After exiting the DHV Magellan, you'll be able to access it via the Equipment radial (Hold Left D-Pad). As a hint, Dollman will mention it the first time you rest during Episode 3.

Rest, Equip Harmonica, then Press Right Side of the Touchpad

Harmonica

Steps to Play the Harmonica
1. Hold square to Rest
2. Hold left directional button
3. Move right stick to top-left of the radial menu
4. Press X to Equip Harmonica
5. Press the right side of the Touchpad

To play the harmonica, first hold the square button to Rest. While resting, hold the left directional button to open the radial menu. Use the right stick to navigate to the top-left option, select Harmonica, and then press X to equip it. Once equipped, simply press the right side of the Touchpad to begin playing.

Note: The harmonica can't be used while Sam is standing even if it is equipped.

Soothes Lou and Receive Likes

Playing the harmonica has the beneficial effects of improving Lou's mood and soothing her.

You will also receive Likes from Lou, 20 Likes for improving her mood and 5 Likes because she enjoyed your performance.
